Terms of Use

Last updated: October 30, 2026

Acceptance

These terms apply to your use of Chinese for Travel. By using the app, you agree to these terms and the rules of the store through which you obtained it. If you do not agree, stop using the app.

The learning service

Chinese for Travel provides Mandarin lessons, practice and travel tools. Free content may include advertising. Premium unlocks additional lessons and features. Content and availability can vary by app version, store and region. You may use the app for your own lawful personal purposes; you may not resell its content, interfere with the service or misuse support and feedback tools.

Yearly subscriptions

A yearly Premium plan renews automatically unless canceled through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Any trial, renewal price and billing terms appear in the store purchase confirmation. Manage or cancel a subscription in your store account. Existing weekly subscriptions continue under their store terms until canceled.

Trip Pass

The Trip Pass provides 60 days of Premium for one payment. It is not an automatically renewing subscription, and no cancellation is needed to prevent renewal. Its validity and expiration are determined from the verified purchase. Reinstalling the app does not start a new 60-day period. Restoring access requires the store account used for purchase and valid store purchase records.

Lifetime access

Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase for access to the Premium features of this app while the app and service remain available. It does not renew and does not promise operation of the service forever.

Payments and refunds

Payments, taxes, eligible trials, cancellation and refunds are administered by Apple or Google under their applicable terms and local law. The store displays the price and terms before you confirm. Use the original store account to restore eligible purchases. Your statutory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.

Travel tools and safety

Lessons and travel cards support communication and preparation. Check that any address, dietary selection and information you show are correct and understood by the person receiving them. Staff may not be able to meet a dietary request. For urgent help, contact appropriate local services. The app does not provide medical, legal, immigration or emergency-response services.

Privacy and feedback

Our Privacy Policy explains local learning data, usage analytics, advertising, speech services, purchases and support feedback. You are responsible for information and screenshots you choose to submit. Do not send information that you do not have permission to share.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the app useful and accurate, but lessons, device speech services and third-party services can contain errors or become unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided as available without a guarantee that it will meet every travel or learning need. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms when the app or its services change. The date above identifies this version. Contact smile@thinksview.com with questions.
